Gonçalo joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a partner to contribute to the firm’s international development and foster relationships with clients and institutions outside Spain, specifically in Portuguese-speaking markets, with a special focus on Portugal and Brazil. He is part of the firm’s LatAm and Portuguese Desk.

Experience

Gonçalo has more than 20 years of experience in the Brazilian, Portuguese, British and American markets, and is specialized in mergers and acquisitions in various sectors, particularly energy and infrastructure and private equity. His clients include multinational companies, American firms, funds and investment banks, among others. Until now he was a partner at a well-known Brazilian law firm and previously worked in the London and New York offices of a major American law firm.

Godinho will combine his work on Pérez-Llorca’s international development project and advising clients mainly focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors, in which he has stood out in recent years, having participated in some of the most significant in Brazil.
