Jesús Cudero joined Pérez-Llorca in 2021 as Of Counsel for the Prosecutor’s team.
Experience
Jesús is a Magistrate on leave from the Second Section of the Third Chamber of the Supreme Court, and has 35 years of experience in the judicial sector. He entered the Judicial Career in 1987 and since then he has been a member of different courts such as the First Instance and Instruction of Osuna, the Criminal Court number 30 of Madrid, the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the TSJ of Madrid, or the of the Contentious-Administrative of the National Court. In 2014 he was promoted to the category of Magistrate of the Supreme Court, where he has served in the Fourth Section of the Third Chamber of the Supreme Court, in the First Section (admission) of said Chamber and, currently, in the Second Section of the Third Chamber of said Court.
Throughout his professional career he has learned about a wide range of matters that correspond to this jurisdiction, including tax law, fundamental rights, special properties, public domain, public function, among others.
Tax Law
Jesús has been director of several courses and seminars. He is currently director of the "Conferences on issues with tax significance", organized by the Taxes and Competitiveness Foundation. He has also participated as a professor and speaker in numerous courses, seminars and conferences, highlighting among others his participation as a professor in the advanced Administrative Law course, organized by the National University of Distance Education and the General Council of the Judiciary, March to July 2020, in the Course of experts in public procurement, organized by the Cajasol Studies Institute, June 2020, Seville or in the master’s degree on tax litigation at the Complutense University of Madrid directed by professors Martínez Lago and Almudí, June 2019.
