Jordi Farrés joined Pérez-Llorca in 2006, after beginning his professional career in a prestigious national firm and completing, that same year, the Master in International Business Law at ESADE. In January 2019 he was appointed Partner at Pérez-Llorca.
Jordi is a specialist in corporate and has advised national and international clients on all types of commercial matters and, in particular, mergers and acquisitions (investments and divestitures, restructurings, carve-outs, etc.), on joint-ventures and strategic agreements, corporate governance issues, in financing operations, in servicing contracts and management of large portfolios of assets and loans/credits and in real estate operations.
Likewise, Jordi has been especially active in recent years advising clients (both industrial and service groups, as well as PE and VC funds) on some of the main issues in the Spanish market in regulated markets, technology (big-data, e- commerce, technological platforms, etc.), tourism, telecommunications, infrastructure and distribution.

Jordi collaborates as a professor in the Law degree at the ESADE Law School, Ramón Llull University and in the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Pompeu Fabra University. Likewise, he has taught commercial practice classes within the Access to the Legal Profession course at the Higher Institute of Law and Economics in Barcelona.
In addition, he regularly collaborates in writing articles for economic media and specialized magazines. He recently authored the article "M&A y deber de lealtad de los administradores de la sociedad target" published in the Pérez-Llorca Legal Review, June 2020.
