Maria Jose Garcia is a member of our Mergers and Acquisitions and Venture Capital teams. Her practice focuses on purchase and sale transactions of domestic and foreign companies and corporate law.

She is a graduate of the University of Lima. She is co-founder and Legal and Finance Director of Crescent, association that provides free consulting services to MSME. She was a teaching assistant for the Written Expression course in the University of Lima’s Law School during 2020-2 and 2021-1.

She is fluent in Spanish and English and has been ranked second by Transactional Track Record (TTR) among the associates that participated in the most M&A transactions in Peru in 2022.

She is also a member of ADV Editores (ADVOCATUS), association composed by law students of the University of Lima, which produces legal events and publications. Maria Jose was General Director of ADVOCATUS during 2019-2 and 2020-1, and Editor in Chief during 2019-1.
