Mayte joined Pérez-Llorca in 2021 as Of Counsel in the Economic Criminal and Investigations area.

Experience

Mayte is a specialist in Criminal Law and Economic Criminal Law, subjects on which she has published numerous publications and opinions. He has combined his academic work with the professional practice of law, advising individuals and legal entities before national and international courts.

Likewise, she participates as an external expert before international courts, and provides advice and training on issues of criminal compliance and operation and procedures before the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Mayte has been a professor of Criminal Law and Economic and Business Criminal Law at the Complutense University of Madrid and is currently a professor at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas – ICADE.

She participates as a speaker in numerous conferences, courses and seminars and has been a member of numerous research projects and contracts.

He is currently a member of the EULAW Project "European Lawyers Training on EPPO (European Public Prosecutor’s Office)", co-financed by the European Union Justice Program between January 2021 and January 2023, aimed at training professionals in the right in the implementation and operation of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.

Likewise, he is a member of the Own Research Project of the Pontifical University of Comillas – ICADE, "Criminological evaluation of economic and business crime in Spain and dogmatic and political-criminal assessment of the recent legal reforms in this area", permanent member of the Group Consolidated Research Center "Criminal Law and Criminology" of the Universidad Pontificia Comillas – ICADE.
