Pablo joined Pérez-Llorca in 2021 as a Competition partner. Pablo Figueroa has more than 15 years of experience in European and Competition Law.

Experience

Pablo, until he joined Pérez-Llorca, has been managing partner of the Competition area in a prominent national firm. Previously, he has led matters related to investigations of cartels, abuse of dominant position and obtaining authorizations in matters of merger control during his time as a lawyer for two firms of recognized international prestige.
Throughout his professional career he has advised important clients on anti-competitive agreements, merger control, unilateral conduct and dominant position, antitrust litigation, state aid, distribution and cooperation agreements and defense against the imposition of sanctions by the Competition authorities. In addition to his Competition practice, Pablo has significant experience in European law, international law, anti-dumping law, public law and foreign investment regulations (’FDI’).

Pablo Figueroa is a professor of competition law at ’Queen Mary University’ (London, United Kingdom) and regularly publishes in recognized specialized European and international competition law journals, being one of the editors of the magazine ’World Competition’ .

In the past, Pablo has taught at prominent educational centers such as the University of Oxford and the Instituto de Empresa.
