Valeria is a BLP Associate based in San José, Costa Rica. She has experience in civil and commercial litigation and representing clients in alternative dispute resolution processes (arbitrations, mediations and negotiations) in matters such as international sales of merchandise, energy, construction, condominiums, and succession, among others.

Furthermore, she has experience in preparing legal opinions for clients and drafting Compliance Manuals related to the application of Know Your Customer Policies and the prevention of money laundering.

She participated as a speaker at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where her team obtained an honorable mention in the Eric E. Bergsten Award. Later, she served as coach of the University of Costa Rica team for that same competition.

She joined the BLP team as an Associate in 2023.
