Arias Costa Rica advises Pursuit on acquisition of Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa

ARIAS Costa Rica acted as legal counsel to Pursuit Attractions and Hospitality, Inc. ("Pursuit") in the successful acquisition of the renowned Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa, located in La Fortuna, at the foot of the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica.
This transaction marks Pursuit’s first investment in the country. ARIAS provided comprehensive legal advice during all stages of the process, including:
Due diligence of the resort’s assets, operations and regulatory compliance.
Structuring and negotiation of the transaction documents.
Advice on real estate and environmental regulations.
Support on corporate, labor and tax issues.
Legal assistance during closing and post-closing.
This acquisition represents an important milestone in Pursuit’s international expansion. Tabacon’s world-class hot springs and jungle setting make it an outstanding addition to the company’s portfolio of iconic destinations.
