Atlantic Copper sold its wire rod and wire copper production and commercialization business

Linklaters has advised Atlantic Copper, SA, subsidiary of one of the most important worldwide copper and gold producers, on the sale of its wire rod and wire copper production and commercialization business to Cunext Copper Industries, SL.

The purchaser is a newly incorporated company formed by Corpfin Capital (one of the most important Spanish venture capital funds) and the managers of the business. The transaction became public on 14 December 2004.

The Linklaters team was led by Alvaro Sáinz, corporate partner in the Madrid office. Other members of the team were Ignacio Echenagusia and Carolina Aróstegui.
