BLP advises UFINET in the acquisition of the company Redes Integradas Corporativas

BLP advised its client UFINET -- a major telecom operator in the market, controlled by a Spain-based parent company -- during the acquisition of the company Redes Integradas Corporativas, a leading company in wireless communication systems in Costa Rica. 

BLP led the entire transaction process: from the due-diligence phase, through the negotiation of the share purchase agreement, the concentration authorization before the SUTEL, the spin-off of part of the business to be acquired, and the final acquisition of the company.  

The transaction also included corporate and contract law topics, regulatory issues, as well as labor, insurance, and intellectual property matters.
