Baker McKenzie announces partner promotions in 2025

Global law firm Baker McKenzie announced the promotion of 59 lawyers to partner, effective July 1, 2025. For those in North America and some Latin American offices, the promotions had already taken effect previously, in January of this year. Added to the 48 lateral partner additions in the current fiscal year, the Firm has integrated a total of 107 new partners globally since July 1, 2024.

The transactional areas of the Firm concentrated the largest number of promotions, followed by the Dispute Resolution and Tax practices. Of the total number of people promoted, 47% were women, representing 28 of the 59 promotions.
