Baker & McKenzie Announces New Mexico City Office Location
Baker & McKenzie is pleased to announce the newest location of its Mexico City office at the new Edificio Virreyes beginning Monday, June 15th, located in one of the most important business districts in
Mexico City.
The Edificio Virreyes is one of the first buildings in Mexico to achieve LEED Platinum Certification by the US Green Building Council. Teodoro González de León - an internationally renowned Mexican architect - provided
the architectural design of the building, while the structural design was developed by the New York office of ARUP, a global engineering consulting firm. The combination of these elements has resulted in an impressive structure that will soon become an icon in the city.
Baker & McKenzie has maintained an important growth and development strategy during the last years, with a main goal to strengthen the high value practice areas based on the market's current status and clients' needs.
The new work place for the Mexico City office emerges from this strategy, and the objective to provide the proper resources and spaces to help clients and professionals address their businesses efficiently, through a solid structure that the Firm provides to face the current legal market.
“Our goal is to continue with the growth and development strategy that the Firm has maintained over the last few years, through strategic growth plans, not only regarding talent or income matters, but also according to technology, mobility, and optimal spaces that may allow us a better and more efficient interaction among office members and our clients, to whom we owe it all," says Reynaldo Vizcarra Méndez, Managing Partner for the Mexico City office of Baker & McKenzie.
