DCBE - Brazilian Capitals Abroad: 2019 Annual Statement - Base Year 2018

Chiarottino and Nicoletti Advogados informs that the Central Bank of Brazil has started receiving the Declaration of Brazilian Capital Abroad (DCBE) for 2018. Statements must be submitted by 6 pm on April 5 of this year.

Individuals and / or legal entities resident or domiciled in the Country, who hold assets against non-residents equal to or greater than the equivalent of US $ 100,000.00, are required to provide all necessary information on December 31, 2018.

In case of non-delivery of the declaration or if it is done after the deadline, with error or incomplete, it is expected to apply a fine of up to R$ 250,000.00 by the BACEN.
