Marval advised Lamb Weston International BV

Marval O’Farrell Mairal advised Lamb Weston International BV on the acquisition of a greater participation in the joint venture with Sociedad Comercial del Plata S.A. in Lamb Weston Alimentos Modernos S.A. (LWAMSA), a company dedicated to the production, export and distribution of frozen potato products in Argentina and other South American countries.

The transaction involved a stock purchase agreement and the negotiation and amendment of certain investment and commercial agreements to continue the expansion of the business and the production capacity, and to manage the relationship among the shareholders, LWAMSA and other related Companies.

The transaction was closed on 5 July 2022.
