ONTIER appoints Cristina Camarero as new managing partner for Spain
ONTIER has announced the appointment of Cristina Camarero as managing partner of the firm in Spain, as part of the strategic transformation plan to boost the growth and profitability of the firm in this region.
Cristina has a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid more than 20 years of professional experience as a lawyer. She has developed her career entirely at ONTIER, where she currently leads the Litigation and Arbitration team, a role that she combines with academia, as she teaches at the Instituto de Empresa (IE) and the Escuela de Práctica Jurídica of the Complutense University.
She has in-depth knowledge of the organization and will focus her duties in operational management, business monitoring and team development. For Cristina, "organizations are the people that make them up and I wish for my management to focus on creating the best possible environment for the professional development of the teams, attracting the best talent to project it inside and outside the organization, promoting growth and profitability for our company."
Cristina will replace Pedro Rodero, who will become Executive Chairman of the firm after 10 years as Managing Partner for Spain. Moving forward, Pedro will be focusing his activity on the firm’s transformation strategy in Spain, the actions to meet its growth objectives, and the development of relationships with clients.
Pedro declared that "this change represents a new milestone in our growth trajectory, giving space to a new generation and new ideas, always having innovation, globality and the development of sustainable relationships with our clients as the main pillars of our culture, with a focus on bringing value to their businesses."
Bernardo Gutiérrez de la Roza will continue as CEO of the firm globally.
