Rebaza Opens Representative Office in Mexico City

March 27, 2026

Rebaza, Alcazar & de las Casas | The Peruvian firm Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas (RAD) has officially announced the opening of its new Representative Office in Mexico City. This move is part of a strategic expansion plan aimed at strengthening its positioning as the first full-service firm of Peruvian origin with a legal services infrastructure of international scope.

Continuity in regional expansion
Following the opening of offices in Santiago de Chile and Madrid, the office in the Mexican capital has the main objective of providing direct support to its clients in the development of investments in one of the most dynamic markets in the region. Likewise, the office will enable close management with international corporations that maintain their regional operations centers in Mexico.

The firm specified that legal practice in this jurisdiction will remain strictly under the modality of Peruvian law, offering specialized advice on cross-border transactions involving Peruvian regulations, but with a deep understanding of the local business environment.

Practice areas and leadership
Historically, RAD has maintained an active presence in highly complex matters, such as:

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Project Finance
  • Private Clients
  • Compliance and White-Collar Crime
  • International Litigation

The new office will be led by Maite Colmenter, partner in the Financing and Private Clients areas. According to firm sources, various RAD partners will participate on a rotating basis in relationship-building activities with financial institutions and local firms to strengthen the regional collaboration network.

"The office seeks not only to support investments and projects, but also to serve as a bridge between our clients and the main local and regional advisors, including law firms, investment banks, and other relevant actors," said Alberto Rebaza, managing partner of the firm.

For her part, Colmenter highlighted that this opening is the result of an internationalization process built with conviction, aimed at optimizing responsiveness in large-scale operations within the Mexico–Peru corridor.
