Ricardo Morales Barrón is new Managing Partner

Fegamo & Vasaf, S.C. is proud to announce that in accordance with the Firm’s corporate governance system, Ricardo Morales Barrón was elected as Managing Partner for a 3-year term, effective as of October 1st, 2020. This selection responds to the Firm’s continued growth and its strategy to address a strong current market need of highly specialized legal services.

Ricardo is one of the founding partners of the Firm since 2010 and he is the head of the Firm’s Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance Practice. He is currently a member of several Bar Associations and Chambers of Commerce located in Monterrey, Mexico, as well as a Member of the international legal fraternity Phi-Delta-Phi.

He has over 20 years of experience advising multinational and national companies. His area of expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and competition law, corporate governance and regulatory compliance, corporate restructurings, foreign investment law, including relevant aspects of acquiring and selling businesses in Mexico, joint ventures, establishment and organization of companies in Mexico, drafting and negotiation of contracts, and in general all relevant aspects of corporate law, including of the development of corporate governance and family-owned companies’ internal policies. Morales Barrón has a diverse client base, which are industry leaders in some of the most relevant sectors in Mexico, such as automotive, aerospace, mining, textile, refrigeration, manufacturing, among others.
