Students from the UC Law, Science and Technology Program visit Alessandri

June 09, 2026

Alessandri | As part of the visit cycle organized by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s Law, Science and Technology Program, a group of teaching assistants visited Alessandri to gain first-hand insight into the practice of law in innovation and digital transformation contexts.

The delegation, led by Sebastián Dueñas, deputy director of the program, was received by partner Carla Illanes, who, together with her Technology, Cybersecurity and Data Protection team, led the session.

During the meeting, attendees were introduced to the firm, its structure and main practice areas, while discussing the legal challenges arising in today’s technological environment. The session also included a review of real cases, allowing participants to apply their academic knowledge and explore practical issues faced in professional practice.

The activity forms part of an initiative by the UC Law, Science and Technology Program aimed at bringing practical experience closer to students and highlighting the opportunities and challenges of legal practice in a dynamic and constantly evolving ecosystem.
