Cookies Policy
This policy explains which cookies Latin Counsel uses on this site, what they are for and how you can accept them, reject them or withdraw your consent at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next or from one visit to another.
Which cookies we use
Necessary. They are our own and make the site work: they remember your choice about cookies and keep the session open for firms signed in to their portal. They are not used to track you and do not require your consent.
Analytics. Only if you accept them, we use Google Analytics to learn which pages are read and how people reach them, in order to improve the site. They are provided by Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer the data outside the European Economic Area. Until you accept them, they are not set.
We do not use advertising or social media cookies, and we do not share information about your browsing with advertisers.
The table on this page lists every cookie the site currently sets, who sets it, what it is for and how long it lasts.
How to manage your consent
When the site uses cookies that require your consent, it shows a notice on arrival so you can accept them, reject them or choose by category, with all three options on the same level. You can change your mind at any time from “Cookie preferences”, at the foot of every page. If you withdraw your consent, analytics cookies are deleted straight away.
Your choice is kept for 12 months. After that, or if this policy changes, we will ask you again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, parts of the site, such as the firms’ portal, may stop working.
