Guzmán Ariza combines experience with innovation. Founded in 1927, long before most other Dominican firms, it has remained at the forefront of legal practice in the Dominican Republic ever since.
Today, it is the first and only law firm in the Dominican Republic with a nationwide presence, with eight offices strategically located in the country’s leading business and tourism centres: Santo Domingo, Bávaro-Punta Cana, La Romana, Casa de Campo, Sosúa-Puerto Plata, Las Terrenas, Samaná and Cabrera.
It is the only firm in the Dominican Republic able to serve clients quickly and effectively throughout the country. Its lawyers regularly work with local government offices and courts in each city or region and understand the opportunities and challenges clients need to consider to establish their businesses successfully or resolve their legal issues.
With more than 50 professionals, most of them multilingual and specialising in a wide range of legal and business fields, Guzmán Ariza has also become the Dominican Republic’s most international law firm. Its lawyers can communicate with clients in eight languages: Spanish, English, Italian, Russian, French, German, Dutch and Haitian Creole. It also has the broadest practice scope.
Internationally, it is a member of major global law firm networks—SCG Legal, GGI Geneva Group International, Legal Cross Border and Nextlaw Referral Network—giving it access to the support of partner firms around the world and enabling it to serve clients effectively on their international transactions.
Guzmán Ariza draws on nearly a century of history and a team of highly specialised and qualified lawyers, as well as an extensive worldwide network of firms, for the benefit of its clients.
