B. Génesis Rodríguez has extensive experience in constitutional, environmental and administrative law.

B. Génesis has extensive experience in litigation and general corporate advisory work, particularly in regulatory and compliance matters, as well as constitutional and administrative proceedings, advertising, personal data protection and consumer rights.
She has advised clients on tax matters, customs regulations, free trade zones, intellectual property and copyright, corporate law, aviation law and banking law. She also has extensive knowledge of environmental services, environmental management, due diligence and environmental compliance reviews.

In 2019, she had the opportunity to intern at the Permanent Mission of the Dominican Republic to the UN, WTO, ILO, WIPO and other international organizations based in Geneva, Switzerland. She also has first-hand experience as an educator, teaching postgraduate courses organized by the Dominican Constitutional Court.

B. Génesis is an English-language judicial interpreter authorized in the Dominican Republic.

EDUCATION

• She earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from the Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo in 2012 and, in 2014, obtained a master’s degree in legal practice from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and Fundación Pellerano & Herrera. She also earned a master’s degree in Constitutional Law and Procedure from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD).
• B. Génesis is a specialist in Constitutional Justice, Interpretation and Protection of Fundamental Rights, a qualification she obtained from the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (Toledo Campus). She has also taken several courses and seminars on environmental law and management, constitutional law and procedure, arbitration, insolvency, restructuring and liquidation, trust funds and investments, civil litigation, real estate law and family law, and attended various conferences on international law.

• She is a member of the Dominican Republic Bar Association and the Latin American Council of Students of International and Comparative Law, Dominican Republic Chapter (COLADIC-RD).
