Florent Patoret

Florent joined the firm in 2016 as an associate. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate matters. He is also active in the mining industry, advising clients on M&A transactions, financings and regulatory matters relating to their operations.

He has played an active role in significant international M&A transactions involving domestic and international clients. He has advised companies and entrepreneurs, including French companies, on establishing their businesses in Mexico and on their day-to-day compliance with corporate obligations in the country.

His prior experience includes three years as an associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton’s Paris office, where he focused on M&A and capital markets matters. He is admitted to practise law in Mexico, Paris and New York.

Florent received his law degree from Universite? Paris 12, Paris (2009). He holds a master’s degree in corporate law from Universite? Paris Dauphine, Paris (2010), and a master’s degree in corporate law from New York University School of Law, New York (2012).

He is recognised as a recommended associate in The Legal 500 2023 Latin American Guide for the Energy and Natural Resources: Mining practice.
