Gloria Niembro

Gloria Niembro joined Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa as Director of Intellectual Property practice group in 2020. Gloria’s legal practice focuses on consultancy and litigation of intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyright and trade secrets. She has performed numerous due diligences on intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions and has helped clients achieving strategic goals relating to their intangible assets.

Education

• Law degree with honors from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM) in 2012. Master of Laws (LL.M.) in intellectual property at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York, 2015.

• Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AMPPI); Coordinator of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee (2019-2020) and upcoming President of such Committee (2021-2022). Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI); Member of the Country Guides Committee. International Trademark Association (INTA).
