Hugh Jones

Practice areas Corporate Banking Career Hugh is a partner in Osborne Clarke’s banking group. He has acted for financial institutions for more than twenty years and is recognised as one of the leading banking lawyers in the South East. He has advised on a wide range of banking and corporate finance matters, with a particular focus on acquisition finance. Hugh’s clients include banks, UK and international public and private companies, and private equity funds. In addition to his banking and corporate clients, he also regularly acts for the private equity fund Growth Capital, among others. He divides his time between our Thames Valley and London offices. Hugh graduated in 1989 and was a partner at a previous firm before joining Osborne Clarke as a partner in 1999.
