John Pringle

John regularly acts for lenders and borrowers across a broad range of transactions, including general corporate banking, acquisition finance, real estate and development finance, mezzanine finance, invoice and asset finance, housing finance, shipping finance, investment finance, crowdfunding and restructuring/refinancing. He has drafted and updated standard loan, security, guarantee and invoice finance documentation for many lenders operating in the UK market. John also regularly works on complex, high-value transactions, often involving multi-jurisdictional issues. His experience also includes, among other things, all forms of fixed and floating security, guarantees, intercreditor issues, hedging and derivatives issues, voidable transactions and deal structuring. He is active in several sectors, including healthcare, retail, renewable energy, food and drink, and sport. John has experience working with a range of lenders, from large international financial institutions (including most of the major lenders active in the UK market) to government-backed investment funds, pension schemes and niche lenders. He also acts for numerous well-known Scottish companies in connection with their banking and finance requirements.
