Jorge Ferrer Barreiro is a founding partner of finReg360, a leading financial regulation firm in Spain.
He has over 20 years of experience advising financial institutions in areas such as investment services, asset management, and venture capital.
He has led some of the most significant adaptation processes to RIS, MiFID II, and IDD regulations in the Spanish industry, advising the country’s most prominent institutions. He currently advises private equity firms on obtaining authorizations, establishing their structures, and launching their investment vehicles, as well as large financial institutions on designing asset distribution schemes for retail clients. Previously, he was a partner at KPMG, where he led the financial regulation team. He is also recognized by the prestigious international directory Chambers & Partners in the Financial Regulation and Fintech categories as one of the leading professionals in Spain.
