Ricardo Abdala Hirane

He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on May 2.

He graduated with a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 1988. He is a founding partner and managing partner of Abdala & Cia.

His practice focuses primarily on business, corporate governance, boards of directors, and public and private tenders. In recent years, he acted as counsel in the tenders for the construction of the Chacao Channel Bridge and the Ovalle Casino, both of which were awarded to his clients. He leads the commercial and corporate governance practice at Abdala & Cia. He also plays an active role in planning and strategy, and in overseeing highly complex litigation.

He has extensive experience advising foreign investors and launching foreign companies, and is involved in their formation, development and consolidation. He has a long track record in legal matters relating to business and its risks, and to increasing and protecting assets.

He serves as a director, adviser, legal representative, attorney-in-fact and consultant. He holds the title of compliance officer, in which capacity he develops crime prevention models for different business areas and oversees their proper implementation.
