Graduated from the Universidad Nacional de El Salvador, San Salvador (law degree, 1964); the Supreme Court of Justice, San Salvador (notary public); and the Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador, San Salvador (master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy). He is currently the firm’s president.
Practice areas: corporate law; foreign investment; insurance; telecommunications; aviation; free trade zones and arbitration; intellectual property litigation; constitutional protection proceedings and administrative law appeals; legal adviser to the private sector in the CAFTA negotiations. Member of ASIPI (Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property), IBA (International Bar Association) and AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).
