Practice areas Simon advises public bodies, regulators and those affected by their decisions. He trained at the Government Legal Department and has more than 10 years’ experience in sensitive, complex and high-profile litigation, including cases before the UK Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights. He has also worked on a range of inquiries and public inquiries, including those relating to the 7 July London bombings and the deaths of Baha Mousa and Alexander Litvinenko, and was counsel to Dame Heather Hallett’s independent review of the administrative scheme relating to "on-the-run" cases in Northern Ireland.
