Sonsoles Centeno joined Pérez-Llorca in 2021 as a partner in European Union Law and responsible for leading the opening of the Brussels office. She is a State Attorney on leave and an expert in litigation and regulation.

Experience

Sonsoles has a very deep knowledge of European institutions and has more than 18 years of experience holding different positions within the Public Administration.

Until she joined the Firm, she was Deputy Director General for European Union and International Affairs (Ministry of Justice), Chief State Attorney before the Court of Justice of the European Union (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation ) and Agent of the Kingdom of Spain.

Previously, she held the position of State Lawyer-Legal Counsel of the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union in Brussels, she was a Lawyer at the General Court of the European Union, State Lawyer before the National Court, Contentious-Administrative Chamber , and State Attorney before the Central Contentious-Administrative Courts.
