Bruchou, Cleary Gottlieb and Posadas, Posadas & Vecino advise The Clorox Company on the sale of its operations in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay

Bruchou & Funes de Rioja, Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP and Posadas, Posadas & Vecino advised The Clorox Company ("Clorox") on the sale of its operations in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay to an investment group led by Apex Capital.

The transaction included Clorox Argentina’s two manufacturing plants, as well as the rights to certain Clorox brands in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay and the shared intellectual property of those brands.

The transaction did not include Clorox’s Latin American research and development and corporate offices, which will remain in Argentina to support Clorox’s ongoing operations in other Latin American markets and to provide transition services to Clorox Argentina under its new ownership.

Apex Capital is a private equity fund affiliated with Grupo Mariposa, a 139-year-old food and beverage company with operations in 16 countries.
