Pablo Echenique joins DLA Piper from Cases & Lacambra  

DLA Piper has announced the addition of Pablo Echenique to its Corporate and M&A team in Madrid, where he will lead the energy and infrastructure area. 

Pablo joins the international firm from Cases & Lacambra, where he has worked in Corporate M&A since 2019, focusing primarily on the energy and infrastructure areas.

During his more than twenty years of professional career, Pablo has been involved in numerous commercial and financial transactions, mainly focused on the energy, infrastructure and construction sectors, in Europe, The United States, and Latin America.

Pablo’s early career was linked to Uría Menéndez, where he worked as a senior associate in the corporate department for more than seven years, focusing on the real estate, finance and infrastructure sectors.

In addition, he worked at Abengoa for seven years as a senior lawyer in the group’s General Secretariat, and as head of the legal department of Abengoa Projects Warehouse. He has also headed the legal department of Alfanar Energy.

Pablo holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a master’s degree in corporate legal advice (LLM) from the Instituto de Empresa (IE).
In addition to his professional career, he has also been teaching Business Law at IE University since 2019.
