Pérez-Llorca adds José María Miralles as partner in Barcelona  

The former General Counsel of Cellex joins the firm to strengthen its infrastructure and telecommunications practice
 

Pérez-Llorca has strengthened its infrastructure and telecommunications practice with the incorporation of José Mª Miralles as partner.

José Mª Miralles will join the firm at the beginning of November 2023.
 
The lawyer has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, and in recent years at Cellnex Telecom as legal and regulatory director.

He has spent a large part of his professional career at Cellnex, where he has been, until July 2023, Global General Counsel, member of its Executive Committee, responsible for legal, regulatory and competition matters, compliance, data protection and intellectual property. Previously, he was part of the Abertis Telecom team, as well as Retevisión and AUNA Operadores de Telecomunicaciones.
 
José Mª Miralles is one of the most recognised lawyers in the telecommunications infrastructure sector in Europe. His joining Pérez-Llorca significantly strengthens this practice and adds his experience to that of other experts in the Firm at a time when this sector is becoming increasingly strategic in global economic development.
 
He holds a Law Degree from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the San Pablo CEU University, as well as other degrees from ESADE (Corporate Law), Pompeu Fabra University (Urban Planning and Public Law) and the University of Barcelona (Competition Law).
 
José Mª Miralles will join the Corporate team in the Barcelona office.
