Roberto Silva will take over the Presidency of the Argentine National Securities Commission (CNV)

Roberto E. Silva (h), partner of Marval Farrell Mairal since 1996, member of its Board of Directors and of its Banking and Capital Markets Department, has been publicly announced as the candidate to assume the presidency of the Argentine Securities and Exchange Commission (CNV).

Roberto is a market reference in capital markets, financing, trusts, banking law and exchange control; he is the author of several bibliographies on such topics. As of the appointment to his position at the CNV, Mr. Roberto E. Silva (h) will no longer provide services to the Law Firm.

Roberto Silva commented: "It is an honor and a privilege to have been appointed to chair the CNV. At the same time, it is also a very important challenge. I hope to be able to contribute to this new stage in Argentina".
