During her professional practice, she has worked as an attorney in the areas of Family Law, Civil Law and Commercial Law, and served as an attorney for banking institutions.

Her experience has led her to participate as a trainer for the Center for Democratic Studies of Latin America CEDAL in the areas of Conflict Resolution, Labor Law and Leadership. Catalina has worked as a university professor in Labor Law and Civil Obligations, and is a mediator specialized in Labor Law.

Catalina has advised directors, managers and human resources departments in labor matters, including drafting employment contracts, addendums, company policies and procedures for employees, negotiations and conciliations, and has been part of investigative commissions for the handling of Sexual and Labor Harassment proceedings. In addition, she has led and participated in massive labor conciliation processes.

She has been an attorney in labor litigation and has handled all types of labor law claims, including ordinary proceedings for labor benefits, consignment of labor benefits, labor risks, harassment and discrimination, employee discipline and termination of the labor relationship. 

Catalina has extensive experience in legal advice and assistance to corporate clients in labor law and labor matters, as well as in labor risk prevention. She has participated in employer substitution and due diligence processes for national and international companies.
