BLP strengthens its team in Guatemala with the addition of Carolina Diab as Special Counsel

BLP has announced the addition of Carolina Diab as Special Counsel at its Guatemala office, reinforcing its team and reaffirming the firm’s commitment to excellence, regional integration, and sustained growth.

Carolina Diab brings an outstanding track record across various areas of law, including Dispute Resolution, Corporate Law, Compliance, Estate & Succession Planning, and Competition Law. She has extensive experience in Arbitration, having served on multiple arbitral tribunals both as president and co-arbitrator. Her practice also encompasses Commercial Law, Mediation, Project Development, the preparation of legal opinions and risk reports, corporate legal audits, mergers and acquisitions, family wealth structuring, and advice on tax litigation matters.

For over a decade, she served as Executive Director of the Commission for the Resolution of Conflicts of the Guatemalan Chamber of Industry (CRECIG), where she promoted the development of arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods. She currently continues to serve as a member of its Board of Directors.
