Bold acquires VendeMás in Peru

Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas - In September of this year, Bold acquired VendeMás, a payment facilitator that -until the closing of the transaction- was part of Niubiz.

Bold is a Colombian fintech that began its operations by offering payment solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in the country. Today, it provides additional financial services such as merchant loans, deposit accounts, debit cards, and other services. Bold is backed by investors including General Atlantic and the World Bank.

Niubiz is one of the leading players in Peru’s payment ecosystem, offering innovative solutions that support the growth of thousands of businesses. In 2017, Niubiz launched its subsidiary VendeMás as a payment facilitator.

With the acquisition of VendeMás, Bold enters the Peruvian market, marking a key step in its international expansion strategy.
