Broseta consolidates its position in Portugal

With the aim of promoting the growth of the firm in Portugal and reinforcing its commitment to the Iberian market, BROSETA has launched the process for the integration of the Portugal office into the firm´s structure, with the consequent changes in the corporate structure and in the composition of its shareholders.
In this way, BROSETA – Portugal, Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL, will cease to be an independent company, and will become an additional office, as incorporated into the management of the rest of the Firm’s structure.

For Manuel Broseta, President of BROSETA, "as part of the BROSETA Horizon 25 Strategic Plan framework, this means taking one more step in promoting and consolidating our position as a leading Iberian firm, and shows our commitment to following the path of international growth following the integration of BROSETA in Portugal almost five years ago".

Álvaro Roquette Morais, current managing partner of the Firm in the Portuguese market, will continue to lead the Portuguese office, adding a position as member of the Board of Directors in Spain too. According to Roquette, "this is the expected and desired satisfactory result after the firm´s establishment in the Portuguese market, and goes one step further into a full integration into the firm".
These changes represent the full elevation of the BROSETA brand in the Portuguese market, as a natural evolution of the trajectory in the Iberian market, following consistent organic and corporate growth; and the robustness of the financial results since the constitution of BROSETA Portugal. The Lisbon office from which BROSETA offers services in Portugal has tripled its turnover since it opened in 2018.

For Rosa Vidal, Managing Partner of BROSETA, "these changes in the corporate structure respond to a new cycle of expansion of our activities in Portugal, for which the commitment to technology and talent will be key factors for growth."

Iberian dimension and international positioning
BROSETA has had an office in Lisbon since 2018, an opening that gave the company an optimal dimension to offer a fully Iberian service to its customers.
Additionally, BROSETA has three physical offices in Spain, with a presence in Barcelona since 2022; in Valencia since its origins; and in Madrid since 2007.
The Firm also has an office in Zurich since 2013, and is part of the Ibero-American Legal Network, an alliance of legal firms in Latin America that is present in 20 countries and has more than 1,000 lawyers establishing synergies and meeting the needs of organizations between the regions.
