A&O Shearman advises banks on Entre Ríos’ US$300 million bond issuance

March 08, 2026

A&O Shearman advised the initial purchasers in the Province of Entre Ríos’s offering of US$300 million 9.550% Notes due 2033, marking the province’s first return to international capital markets since March 2017, alongside a tender offer for its Step Up Notes due 2028.

The Province of Entre Ríos intends to use the proceeds from the sale of the notes to repurchase the Step Up Notes due 2028 and finance public works projects.
The mandate adds to A&O Shearman’s track record in Argentine capital markets transactions, which includes advising longtime client the Province of Córdoba on its recent US$725 million and US$800 million notes offerings, as well as advising the initial purchasers in Tecpetrol’s US$750 million notes issuance, the Province of Santa Fe’s US$800 million notes offering, and Arcor’s US$350 million bond deal.

The A&O Shearman team was led by New York-based capital markets partner Alejandro A. Gordano and included capital markets associate Gonzalo Robles, visiting attorneys Moises Gonzalez Arroyo and Mariana Lobato, as well as tax partner Lorenz Haselberger and tax associate Edgardo Martinez Gastelum.
