Cavelier Abogados, a Colombian law firm with over 70 years of experience in intellectual property (IP) and business law , has announced its integration with Consuelo Benjumea & Asociados, a firm based in Medellín specializing in IP, sanitary registry, competition, and consumer protection.
Through this transaction, Cavelier Abogados consolidates its presence in both Bogotá and Medellín, expanding its service capacity for national and international clients operating in Colombia. Consuelo Benjumea joins the firm as a Partner.
Consuelo Benjumea & Asociados contributes over three decades of specialization in IP and an established client portfolio.
Consuelo Benjumea is a lawyer and Public Accountant from the University of Medellín, with postgraduate degrees in Industrial Property, Copyright, and New Technologies from Universidad Externado de Colombia, and in Finance from Universidad EAFIT. She has been recognized in Chambers Latin America and is an active member of INTA and ASIPI.
