Citrosuco acquires from Cargill assets related to the orange juice business in Brazil
Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados represented Citrosuco, a Brazilian company that operates in the production, processing and exportation of orange juice, on the acquisition from Cargill of an industrial plant in the City of Bebedouro, State of Sao Paulo, and two farms in the States of Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo, along with a storage facility located in Limeira, State of Sao Paulo. The transaction was concluded on July 1st, and the registry of the asset transfer shall occur after this date. The parties did not disclose the amount involved in the transaction.
According to the information received, Cargill also concluded the sale of other assets to Sucocítrico Cutrale ? a Brazilian company that also operates in the production, processing and exportation of orange juice ?, which caused the exit of Cargill Group from the orange juice business in Brazil.
