Feinzaig, Scharf & van der Putten Develops Securities Department

Feinzaig, Scharf & van der Putten has enhanced its Securities Department with the full time re-incorporation of Luis R. Rodríguez, specialist in securities regulation and capital markets.

Rodríguez served as Legal Advisor to the Costa Rican Securities Regulatory Commission from 1999 through 2004. He has vast experience in securities laws in general, as he participated in special commissions appointed to draft and implement many of the current securities regulations in force in Costa Rica. As Advisor to Securities Regulatory Commission, he was closely involved in all major developments in the Costa Rican capital market during the past five years. Rodríguez has also worked extensively in public offerings, issuance of debt, equity and derivatives, registration and disclosure obligations, among other securities transactions. This securities background complements Rodríguez´s experience for four years at the Constitutional Chamber of the Costa Rican Supreme Court and as Constitutional Advisor to the Vice-President of Costa Rica.
