NHG Contributes to the New Edition of Latin Lawyer’s Guide to ESG

November 19, 2025

Nader, Hayaux & Goebel (NHG) has participated in the fourth edition of The Guide to Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG), published by Latin Lawyer.

Titled "The Transformation of Sustainable Finance in Mexico: Green, Blue, and Social Bonds Drive Latin America’s Transformation," the article provides an up-to-date X-ray of the Mexican market and its regional impact.

Expert Voices in the Green Transition

The piece was authored by three of the firm’s partners: Yves Hayaux-du-Tilly, Ana Paula Telleria, and Ana Paula Pardo. In their analysis, the authors explore how Mexico’s financial market is rapidly evolving thanks to the rise of thematic debt instruments, specifically green, blue, and social bonds.

An Evolving Regulatory Framework

The article focuses not only on financial instruments but also on the legal infrastructure that supports them. NHG’s experts highlight recent regulatory milestones that are accelerating the integration of ESG principles into the sector, such as:

  • The implementation of Mexico’s Sustainable Taxonomy (Taxonomía Sostenible).
  • The adoption of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) international standards.

With this participation, the firm underscores its active commitment to advancing the ecological transition and sustainable finance, both in Mexico and across the rest of Latin America.
