Panama social security authority awards project to build hospital in Chitré
The social security authority of Panama issued Resolution DNCyA-229-2013 whereby the Draft, Design, Final Plans, Specifications and Construction of the new Dr. Roberto Ramirez de Diego Policlinic, in Chitre, Herrera province, bid was awarded. Heliopol, S.A.U. (Panama), Consorcio CMG-TR-GEED, Levantina, Chitre Consorcio Policlinica, Consorcio Cobra Policlinica de Chitre and Consorcio Nueva Policlinica de Chitré submitted proposals in the Public Act 2013-1-10-0-06-AV-098394 of the project.
The contract was awarded to the Consorcio Nueva Policlinica de Chitré joint venture comprised of Elecnor, S.A., of Spain and its subsidiary Elecven Construcciones, S.A., of Venezuela, which submittted the best proposal for $10,384,977.28. Chitre is one of the main towns of Panama, serving as administrative center to a region of 70,000 inhabitants.
Alvaro Aguilar-Alfú, partner of Lombardi Aguilar Group, served as legal representative of Consorcio Nueva Policlinica de Chitre in the bid.
