Adriana Castro focuses on corporate law and telecommunications, media and technology. She also has experience in business dispute resolution and family business matters.
In her more than 14 years of experience, she has advised domestic and multinational companies on a range of day-to-day matters and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, coordinating work with law firms and legal teams around the world and leading matters for BLP’s other offices in Central America. She also has experience reviewing and implementing contracts, debt restructurings, designing and implementing corporate, tax and employment structures, and addressing the organizational aspects of family businesses.
Adriana is described as a lawyer focused on developing her clients’ businesses, with a comprehensive understanding of their business and close attention to legal matters. Her responses are also noted for their clarity.
She taught private law at the University of Costa Rica for three years. She is director of the International Bar Association (IBA) young lawyers’ forum. She is also the founder and executive director of the nonprofit organization Fundación Banco de Leche Humana Catalina Vega. In addition, Adriana serves on the boards of several family businesses as a director.
