Diego S. Kelly

Diego S. Kelly advises multinational and local companies on a broad range of employment law matters. He has more than 14 years of experience in the field. He joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 1995 and became a partner in 2015.

His practice focuses on advising multinational and local companies on mergers and acquisitions, employee transfers, workforce reductions, global transactions, union matters, complex compensation programmes and equity compensation programmes. He also advises on adapting international policies and programmes to local law.

Education

• He graduated with a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 2002 and qualified as a public translator at the same university in 2001. As a result, he has a strong command of English, which is essential to his regular dealings with international clients and parties. In 2007, he obtained a postgraduate degree in employment law from the Argentine Catholic University.

Memberships

• He was a member of the Study and Research Group of the Argentine Association of Labour and Social Security Law from 2007 to 2010. He actively participates in conferences, congresses, seminars and training courses in his field, and has been a guest speaker at the annual meeting of the international legal network Lex Mundi.

Awards and Recognition

• He was named “Leader in the Field” in the Labour and Employment category in the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 editions of Chambers Latin America.
