Guillermo Burman

A member of Marval O’Farrell Mairal since 2005 and a partner since 2009, he specialises in corporate and finance law. He advises local and foreign companies across a range of industries on general commercial and corporate law and, in particular, on the design, planning and structuring of financial transactions, including company acquisitions, project finance and asset securitisation.

Before joining Marval O’Farrell Mairal, he worked at the firms Brons & Salas from 2003 to 2005 and Le Pera & Lessa from 1994 to 1998. He also served as legal manager at Recovery S.A. (1999-2003).

He teaches Commercial Companies at Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires and Business Ethics and Legislation in the MBA programme at Di Tella.

He graduated with honours in law from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1994 and obtained an LLM from Columbia University in New York in 1999.

In 2014, he completed the “Family Business and Office School” course at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, United States.
