José M. Llano

He joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 2000. He has been a partner in the employment and social security department since 2009.

He advises on all aspects of his area of practice. His practice has focused on employment advice to companies operating in a range of sectors, including in connection with mergers and acquisitions, employee transfers, workforce restructuring and the termination of key employees.

He has extensive experience in collective labour law and has actively participated in negotiating collective bargaining agreements with trade unions, as well as in negotiating and resolving collective disputes on behalf of the firm’s clients.

From 1986 to 1990, he worked in the National Judiciary, and from 1991 onwards he specialised in employment law.

He has spoken at numerous courses, lectures and seminars on matters relating to his area of practice.

Education

• He graduated with a law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina in 1996.
