Leandro M. Castelli

Leandro M. Castelli joined Marval O’Farrell Mairal in 1994 and became a partner in 2002.

As a member of the Litigation and Arbitration team, Dr Castelli handles complex disputes, particularly claims arising from product liability and environmental matters.

He worked at Davies Arnold Cooper (now DAC Beachcroft) in London, England, on insurance and reinsurance matters.

He graduated with a law degree from the Universidad de Belgrano School of Law in 1991 and currently serves as chair of the Consumer Protection Commission of the Buenos Aires City Bar Association. He also served as vice chair for Latin America and the Caribbean of Lex Mundi’s dispute resolution practice group.

He is a member of the Buenos Aires City Bar Association, the Public Bar Association of the Federal Capital, the San Isidro Bar Association and the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).

Author of the Argentina chapter of the first edition of European Lawyer Reference’s Product Liability (2014), he has also published articles in Argentina and abroad and spoken at national and international forums on product liability.
