María Inés Brandt is a partner in Marval O’Farrell Mairal’s Tax Department and has more than 30 years’ experience in this practice area.
She specialises in tax advice, the tax structuring of corporate and financial transactions and corporate reorganisations, and the design and organisation of efficient tax structures for new business lines at national and regional level. She also has extensive experience in complex tax disputes.
Before joining Marval O’Farrell Mairal, she was a founding partner of Tanoira Cassagne Abogados and a partner in charge of the Tax Department at Estudio Beccar Varela.

A recognised tax expert, she has contributed to numerous articles and publications in her field. She regularly speaks at conferences and other seminars. She teaches on executive programmes at Universidad Di Tella and Universidad Austral.
She is an active member of the Asociación Argentina de Estudios Fiscales and coordinates its Financial Activities Taxation Committee.
She is Argentina coordinator for the organising committee of the annual IFA and ABA conference on trends in tax practice in the United States and Latin America.
She is an active member of Marval O’Farrell Mairal’s Pro Bono Committee.
